For the offshore/onshore activities in FLC Marine, starting up Quarter 3 of 2023, we are looking for a skilled fulltime Workshop Supervisor for leading the team of technicians for support, maintain, and repair the Marine assets.

The Workshop Supervisor coordinates and performs the planned and unplanned maintenance works on a daily basis, both for onshore and offshore equipment based on the Planned Maintenance system whilst planning and coordinating with other stakeholders to optimize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of various international construction companies with individual and specialized experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Main responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Leading the team of technicians at the Marine-Operations workshops and technical support yard
  • Coordinating and performing the planned and unplanned maintenance works on onshore and offshore equipment based on the Planned Maintenance system as used by the technical department onshore and the marine crews on board our vessels.
  • Maintains and operates the Marine Operations workshops and facilities to the level as required by the applicable legislation and company rules and regulations.
  • Maintain and optimize the workshop and yard facilities onshore to ensure an orderly and safe workplace in compliance with Danish regulation, company requirements and good work practice
  • Supports the execution of the project quality plan
  • Set up and support the workshop team of technicians to establish an effective, flexible and reliable support base to the technical department.
  • Order parts and consumables at procurement and will control the receipt of goods if delivered at the workshop or collection of goods if delivered at the general store

Qualifications / Experience

  • Hands-on mentality
  • You have an engineering degree or equivalent through experience
  • Experience as Workshop supervisor is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of large mechanical systems and installations, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • Familiar with safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • Able to work under pressure and to prioritize.
  • Possesses good conflict resolution skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, excellent teambuilding and organizational skills and diplomatically handles confrontation.
  • Familiar with computer-based maintenance programs for offshore units.
