Production Operators report to their assigned department supervisors and will aid the supervisors to execute operations pertaining to production of medical cannabis at Valeos A/S in areas such as cultivation, sanitation, processing, and packaging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement production practices as indicated by supervisors and managers.
Maintain production processes through observation and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure accuracy of inventory, including batch information.
Perform production maintenance, according to a set schedule and SOP’s, as determined by the Head of Production.
Ensure the production facility is kept free of pests, viruses, or other diseases by preventing contamination through proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and biological controls established within the Production SOPs.
Regularly clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and production areas used in the facility to ensure sanitary practices.
Abide by high personal hygiene standards.
Immediately inform department supervisors if they observe any issues with plants, equipment, or environments.
Break down and set up production areas for, but not limited to propagation, harvest, trimming, packaging (line clearance).
Accuracy record and maintain any basic paperwork pertaining to their job.
Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity through coordinated workflow and efficient systems.
Maintain organization and sanitary conditions within the Production facility.
Assist with pre and post-harvest duties as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Required and Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately. Able to communicate or read in one or both Danish and english. (Speak both is preferred).
Must comply with regulations and guidelines set out by the company.
Ability to pass a background check (required).
Must be 19 years of age or older.
1-3 years of experience in horticulture, agriculture, Sanitation and/or cannabis cultivation (preferred).
Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills..
Knowledge of uses and benefits of cannabinoids (preferred).
A combination of the above shall also be considered.
Long periods of prolonged standing and sitting.
Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and/or fill out paperwork.
Ability to observe and assess material that deviates from established company standards.
Some crouching and/or repetitive motions.
Requires bending and lifting up to 25 kg.
Similar to a busy manufacturing facility or warehouse.
Occasional exposure to loud vacuum cleaners (ear protection provided) and bright lights (eye protection provided).
Occasional weekend or extended hours may be necessary during certain phases of plant production.
Constant interaction with colleagues.
8 Hour Shift. Start times are depending on company needs.
2 x 30 min breaks (1 paid and 1 unpaid)
the hourly wage start at 145/h
