For the offshore/onshore activities in FLC Marine, starting up Quarter 3 of 2023, we are looking for a Tunnel Elements Systems Supervisor for leading the team of technicians installing, maintaining, and repairing the Tunnel Elements systems used during the preparation, transport, and installation phase of Tunnel Elements.

The TE Systems Supervisor oversees Installation of temporary TE systems in the Tunnel elements whilst planning and coordinating with other stakeholders to optimize the available time frame.

Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of various international construction companies with individual and specialised experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Main responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Supervising, preparing, and performing the mobilization, commissioning, and demobilization of the TE systems
  • Execute the TE systems works whilst coordinating closely and effectively with the involved (internal) stakeholders to optimize efficiency.
  • Plan, execute and register maintenance & repairs to the TE systems equipment based on the Planned Maintenance system
  • Thereby ensuring operational equipment in compliance with legislative, safety and user requirements
  • Supports the execution of the project quality plan
  • Troubleshoot system during installation and operation
  • Coordinate and perform recovery of systems from tunnel after installation on the seabed
  • Manages and reports daily interface with other TE outfitting parties
  • Provides support and input on risk assessments for TE mobilization / demobilization, general tasks.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Hands-on mentality
  • you have an engineering degree or equivalent through experience
  • a first experience as mechanical supervisor is an advantage.
  • knowledge of mechanical systems and installations, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • good communication and leadership skills
  • problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • familiar with safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • able to work under pressure and to prioritise.
  • Possesses good conflict resolution skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, excellent teambuilding and organizational skills and diplomatically handles confrontation.
  • Familiar with computer-based maintenance programs for offshore units.
