Northern Europe's largest construction project is underway. While we're making history by building the world's longest immersed tunnel, the Fehmarn belt Link, we're looking for a service-minded receptionist to join our Village team and help keep the engine room running on an exciting and vibrant day.
Who are we?
We Femern Link Contractors (FLC), are contractors on the Femern Link.
FLC consists of a consortium of 9 partners from across Europe. You will therefore have colleagues from all over the world and be part of an international environment.
FLC Village houses our many tunnel construction staff. Eventually, FLC Village will have 1344 rooms, making us Denmark's largest hotel operation.
The Village is responsible for ensuring that our employees are happy to stay at FLC Village and has a range of leisure activities to offer, including our own fitness room, TV room, and various gaming facilities, as well as working with local associations to provide facilities for our employees.
Your tasks
- Quality assurance of ordered services concerning canteen operation, cleaning, and other activities.
- Check-in and check-out of employees and suppliers, allocation of rooms, reporting of rooms out of order in the hotel system Picasso.
- Handling queries from employees and subcontractors, in person, by email, and by phone. (Q&A.)
- Lighter translation tasks from English to Polish and from Polish to English
- Ordering and coordinating craftsmen and other subcontractors
- Planning events for resident staff
- Hosting Village inductions in Polish
- Translations of written warnings and assisting with translations in meetings hereof. (English to Polish)
About you
We expect:
- To be educated or have significant experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.
- To be service-minded, outgoing, smiling, and have a professional approach to guests and colleagues.
- You are flexible, presentable, open-minded, and a problem solver by nature.
- You are always ready to jump into new tasks, you take initiative, and are full of energy.
- You can work evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge or experience of the Picasso hotel system is an advantage.
- Good physique, considering this is not only a desk job.
- That you have a good physical condition - as it is not only quiet sitting work
- That you are a happy, positive, and open person with an easy smile and a great sense of humor.
Language skills:
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and Polish.
- Knowledge of other Eastern European languages is an advantage.
Terms of employment:
Employment according to the civil servant law with a pension, health insurance, and lunch agreement.
