Would you like to contribute to the longest immersed tunnel project in the world and work on heavy duty earthmoving equipment within a high-tech environment? Currently we are looking for Excavator, Material Handling Crane, and Wheel loader operators.
Function description
Safely and skillfully operating earthmoving equipment, whether it is a (standard or long boom) excavator, material handling crane or wheel loader, you know how to handle them onshore and/ or offshore when installed onboard of our construction fleet.
Who is FLC?
Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the Northern Europe’s biggest construction project resulting in the longest immersed tunnel in the world. Our joint venture consists of various international construction companies with individual and specialised experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.
Scope of work:
- Onshore & Offshore Marine earthmoving works.
Main responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Carrying out work in accordance with the specified instructions and safety standards;
- Checking the technical condition of the equipment in consultation with the Barge Engineer / Workshop Supervisor and respective Marine Technical department before, during and after every shift;
- Operating the equipment in compliance with the instructions of Supervisor respecting the operational limits as prescribed by the manufacturer;
- Maintaining your workspace clean and neat;
- Supporting your colleagues with various activities on the project;
- Attend to trainings required to receive the certificates and skills
Qualifications / Experience
- Fluent in English;
- Experience as a Heavy Duty Equipment Operator on big civil, marine or mining projects;
- Experience on excavators, cranes and wheel loaders.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience on international projects;
- In possession of a relevant and valid operator license considering a plus
- Flexible, decisive, precise and proactive;
- GPS experience is a big plus.
